About Talakadu
Talakadu lies on a bend of the Kaveri where drifting sand has covered much of an ancient town. Several temples have been excavated from the dunes, including the Vaidyeshvara and Keerthinarayana temples. The quiet riverbank and the town’s legends make it a thoughtful stop alongside Shivanasamudra or Mysuru.
