Dharmasthala, in Dakshina Kannada, is centred on the Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple, where a Jain family administers a Shiva shrine with Hindu priests. The temple’s annadana serves free meals to thousands of pilgrims daily. The Bahubali monolith on Ratnagiri hill and the Manjusha museum are close by, and Kukke Subramanya is about 50 km away.
